An apparatus and method is provided for coordinating automated package and bulk dispensing at a remote site. A hopper apparatus Includes a series of storage compartments and access doors. The compartments and doors are linked to a PLG that is further linked to an inventory provider. The inventory provider takes product orders from an end-user. The end-user is provided an end-user access code. The Inventory provider communicates with the PLC and reserves for the ordered product(s) a vacant storage compartment(s). The inventory provider delivers the .rho.roduct(s) ordered by the end-user to the hopper apparatus. Upon delivery, the inventory provider enters the appropriate end-user access code(s), causing the PLC to open the storage compartment(s) previously reserved by the inventory provider for the products ordered by the end-user. The inventory provider loads the appropriate storage compartment(s) with the end-user produces). The end-user picks up product(s) previously ordered by entering their access code(s).
La présente invention concerne un appareil et un procédé qui permettent de coordonner la distribution automatique de conditionnement et de produit en vrac au niveau d'un site éloigné. Un appareil de trémie comprend une série de compartiments de stockage et de portes d'accès. Les compartiments et les portes sont reliés par un automate programmable (LPC) qui est lui-même relié à un fournisseur d'inventaire lequel prend les commandes de produit émanant d'un utilisateur final doté d'un code d'accès d'utilisateur final. Le fournisseur d'inventaire communique avec le LPC et réserve un ou plusieurs compartimentes de stockage libres pour les produits commandés. Le fournisseur d'inventaire envoie ensuite le ou les produits commandés par l'utilisateur final à l'appareil de trémie. Au moment de la livraison, le fournisseur d'inventaire entre le ou les codes d'accès d'utilisateur final, ce qui a entraîne l'ouverture, par le LPC, du ou des compartiments de stockage réservés auparavant par le fournisseur d'inventaire, pour les produits commandés par l'utilisateur final. Le fournisseur d'inventaire charge le ou les produits de l'utilisateur final dans le ou les compartiments appropriés. Pour récupérer ensuite les produits qu'il a commandés auparavant, l'utilisateur final entre son ou ses codes d'accès.
