A device (10) for rotating a web material roll (13) supported on a reel shaft (38) having a pair of ends. The rotating device includes a female drive member (37) coupled to one end of the reel shaft and defining an opening (50) having a non-circular perimeter, such as a square opening. Also included is a male drive device having a rotatably powered drive shaft (25) having an end that is congruent to the non-circular perimeter of the opening in the female drive member. The non-circular perimeter allows the reel shaft, and web material roll, to be positively rotated during unwinding. A telescoping assembly of the male drive device (35) is capable of extending the drive shaft into the opening so as to allow co-rotation of the shaft and female member. An optional roll supporting cart (100) may be employed to rotatably support the web material roll when aligning the male and female drive members.
Cette invention concerne un dispositif (10) d'entraînement en rotation d'un rouleau de matériau en voile (13) maintenu par un arbre de bobinage (38) présentant une paire d'extrémités. Le dispositif rotatif comprend un élément menant femelle (37) couplé à une des extrémités de l'arbre de bobinage et définissant une ouverture (50) qui présente une ouverture non circulaire, par exemple carrée. On trouve également un arbre menant rotatif mâle (25) présentant une extrémité dont la forme correspond au périmètre non circulaire de l'ouverture dans l'élément menant femelle. Cette forme non circulaire permet à l'arbre de bobinage, et donc au rouleau de voile, d'être entraînés à force en rotation pendant le dévidage. Sur le dispositif menant mâle (35), un ensemble télescopique fait pénétrer l'arbre d'entraînement dans l'ouverture, ce qui permet une rotation simultanée de l'arbre et de l'élément femelle. En option, un chariot porteur de rouleau (100) peut être utilisé pour maintenir le rouleau de voile en rotation pendant l'alignement des éléments menant mâle et femelle.
