The invention relates to an apparatus for cultivating molluscs. The apparatus comprises a rotatably supported container for cultivating molluscs therein; a buoyancy member responsive to water level change; a pivotably mounted lever connected to the buoyancy member; and means to effect rotational movement of the container in response to movement of the buoyancy member and the lever so that, in use, the molluscs tumble in the container. The invention also relates to a method for cultivating molluscs. The method comprises the steps of placing molluscs to be cultivated in a rotatably supported container; and at least partially rotating the container in a first direction in response to a water level change, so as to tumble the molluscs in the container.

Un appareil, qui permet d'élever des mollusques, comprend un récipient monté rotatif et destiné à l'élevage des mollusques.
