An apparatus and method for determining a volume of tumor mass (40) destroyed which include a temperature probe (16) and a laser probe (14) having a temperature sensor (15). The laser probe (14) and temperature probe (16) are inserted to measure a temperature of the tumor mass (40) and a temperature of tissue mass (38) surrounding the tumor mass (40). By determining the volume of tumor mass (40) destroyed, a graphical representation monitoring of the destruction of the tumor mass is achieved.

La sonde laser (14) et la sonde de température (16) sont introduites pour mesurer la température de la masse tumorale (40) et la température de la masse tissulaire (38) entourant la masse tumorale (40).
