An apparatus (10) is provided for erecting boxes from blanks (11) having side panels (13) with three score lines (20, 22 and 24). The apparatus has a base plate (40), two side folding mechanisms (44) and two end folding mechanisms (45). The side folding mechanisms have a proximal plate (51) pivotally mounted to the base plate, an intermediary plate (53) pivotally mounted to the proximal plate, and a distal plate (55) pivotally mounted to the intermediary plate. Linkage (68) coupled to a handle (67) actuates the movement of the proximal, intermediary and distal plates.

Un appareil (10) permet de monter des boîtes à partir d'ébauches (11) dont les panneaux latéraux (13) sont pourvus de trois lignes de pliage (20, 22 et 24). L'appareil comporte une plaque de base (40), deux mécanismes de pliage latéraux (44) et deux mécanismes de pliage terminaux (45). Les mécanismes de pliage latéraux possèdent une plaque proximale (51) montée pivotante sur la plaque de base, une plaque intermédiaire (53) montée pivotante sur la plaque proximale et une plaque distale (55) montée pivotante sur la plaque intermédiaire. Un mécanisme à articulation (68) raccordé à une poignée (67) provoque le déplacement des plaques proximale, intermédiaire et distale.
