The method consists in positioning a probe (8) in front of a pair of teeth provided on the face of the magnetic circuit of an electric machine. The probe has spaced apart magnetic prong portions (16, 18) having respective end faces adapted to match the teeth of the pair with the end faces (17) in registry with the teeth. The prong portions are respectively provided with an excitation winding (20) and a measurement winding (22). The excitation winding is excited to induce a magnetic flux in a test zone formed of the teeth in front of the probe and a portion of the magnetic circuit exending therebetween. The current flowing in the excitation winding and the voltage across the measurement winding are measured for calculating a resulting power which is indicative of the condition of the test zone. The apparatus is formed of the probe and electronics carrying out the above functions.
L'invention concerne un procédé qui consiste à placer une sonde (8) devant une paire de dents disposées sur la face d'un circuit magnétique d'une machine électrique. Cette sonde comporte des fourchons magnétiques (16, 18) pourvus de faces d'extrémités (17) afin de relier lesdites dents avec les faces d'extrémité alignées sur les dents. Les fourchons sont pourvus d'un enroulement d'excitation (20) et d'un enroulement de mesure (22). L'enroulement d'excitation est excité afin d'induire un flux magnétique dans une zone d'essai formée par les dents situées devant la sonde et par une partie du circuit magnétique s'étendant entre lesdites dents. Le courant circulant dans l'enroulement d'excitation et la tension traversant l'enroulement de mesure sont mesurés afin de calculer une énergie électrique obtenue, laquelle donne des indications sur l'état de la zone d'essai. Cet appareil est constitué de la sonde et d'un dispositif électronique exécutant les fonctions mentionnées ci-dessus.
