-38- The present invention relates to an apparatus (20) for extracting liquid from a humid mass. The apparatus comprises a cylindrical housing (50) having first and second end walls (52,52') and a cylindrical side wall (56). At least one inlet (100) is provided for admitting said humid mass in the housing (50). A pumping system is also provided for forcing said humid mass into the inlet (100). A rotor (31) has one or more pairs of side walls (82,82'), which are joined to a bottom wall (77) and define one or more extracting channels (83) open at their periphery in at least a portion thereof. One or more rotor side walls (52,52') are provided with perforations (84). The rotor has a central shaft (32) for rotation with respect to the housing (50), this shaft (32) having a conduit (33) extending longitudinally therethrough, and is provided with one or more draining conduits (86) having a first portion (182) in fluid communication with the perforations (84). One or more rotor side walls (52,52') are moved upon rotation of the central shaft (32). The draining conduit (86) has a second portion in fluid communication with the shaft conduit (33). A drive (26) is connected to the shaft (32) for rotating the rotor (31) and the apparatus is provided with one or more outlets (102) for discharging matter containing a reduced percentage of liquid therein upon rotation of the rotor (31), the channel being in direct communication with the shaft conduit (33).
La présente invention concerne un appareil pour extraire du liquide d'une masse humide. L'appareil comprend un logement cylindrique ayant une première et une seconde parois terminales, ainsi qu'une paroi cylindrique latérale. Au moins une entrée est prévue pour admettre ladite masse humide dans le logement. Un système de pompage est également prévu pour forcer ladite masse humide à passer dans l'entrée. Un rotor a une ou plusieurs paires de parois latérales, qui sont réunies à une paroi inférieure et qui délimitent un ou plusieurs canaux ouverts à leur périphérie sur au moins une portion de celle-ci. Une ou plusieurs parois latérales du rotor sont pourvues de perforations. Le rotor présente un arbre central destiné à tourner par rapport au logement. Cet arbre comporte une conduite qui le traverse longitudinalement et il est doté d'une ou de plusieurs conduites de drainage ayant une première portion en communication fluide avec les perforations. Une ou plusieurs paroi(s) latérale(s) du rotor se déplacent lors de la rotation de l'arbre central. Le conduit de drainage présente une seconde portion en communication fluide avec le conduit de l'arbre. Un entraînement est connecté à l'arbre pour faire tourner le rotor et l'appareil est pourvu d'une ou de plusieurs sorties pour évacuer la matière contenant un pourcentage réduit de liquide, lors de la rotation du rotor, le canal étant en communication directe avec le conduit de l'arbre.
