An apparatus (10) for making inflated articles (12) from a film web (14) having two juxtaposed film plies (16,18) . One version of the apparatus generally includes a first rotary sealing device (20) for producing transverse seals that bond the film plies together, an inflation assembly (22) for directing gas between the film plies, and a second rotary sealing device (24) for producing a longitudinal seal between the film plies. The longitudinal seal intersects the transverse seals so that the gas is enclosed between the longitudinal seal, transverse seals, and film plies to thereby form an inflated article (12).
La présente invention concerne un dispositif permettant de réaliser des articles gonflés à partir d'une bande de film présentant deux plis de film juxtaposés. Une version dudit dispositif comprend généralement un premier dispositif d'étanchéité rotatif pour produire des joints transversaux qui relient les plis du film ensemble; un ensemble de gonflage conçu pour acheminer du gaz entre les plis du film; et un second dispositif d'étanchéité rotatif pour produire un joint longitudinal entre les plis du film. Le joint longitudinal recoupe les joints transversaux de telle sorte que le gaz est pris entre le joint longitudinal, les joints transversaux et les plis du film de manière à former un article gonflé.
