A wall forming apparatus (1) for constructing monolithic concrete footings and walls of a building foundation which includes a plurality of relatively light-weight prefabricated wall forming panels (7) connected together and positioned to form a plurality of opposing monolithic footing and wall forming units (3, 5), each panel (7) having an outer rigid framework (11, 13, 15, 17) from which an adjustable footing form (9) depends, the opposing footing forms (9) of the opposing footing and wall forming units being devoid of any structure extending directly therebetween, and the framework of each panel (7) being constructed of sufficient rigidity and with sufficient cross-sectional dimensions so as to prevent canting and sagging of the footing and wall forming units (3, 5) formed by the panels (7) when interconnected. Construction and proper placement of the integral footing ad wall forming units (3, 5) is accomplished by placing the panels (7) side-by- side on a flat surface and rigidly interconnecting the same at the adjacent upper and lower corners thereof, and thereafter hoisting each constructed footing and wall forming units (3, 5) into desired position through the use of a crane of other suitable hoisting device.
Un dispositif (1) de coffrage de murs, destiné à la construction de semelles et de murs en béton monolithes constituant les fondations d'un bâtiment, comprend une pluralité de panneaux de coffrage (7) préfabriqués, relativement légers, assemblés et placés de façon à former une pluralité d'unités de coffrage opposées (3, 5) servant à la réalisation d'une semelle et d'un mur monolithes, chaque panneau (7) étant pourvu d'une charpente rigide extérieure (11, 13, 15, 17) sous laquelle est fixé un élément de coffrage (9) réglable, destiné à la semelle, les éléments de coffrage de semelle (9) opposés des unités de coffrage de mur et de semelle opposées ne comprenant aucune structure s'étendant entre elles, et la charpente de chaque panneau (7) présentant une rigidité et une dimension de coupe transversale suffisantes pour empêcher toute inclinaison ou tout affaissement des unités de coffrage (3, 5) de semelle et de mur, constituées par les panneaux (7) lorsqu'ils sont assemblés. Pour construire et placer, de façon adéquate, les unités de coffrage (3, 5) de semelle et de mur monolithes, on dispose les panneaux (7) côte-à-côte sur une surface plate, et on les assemble, de façon rigide, en reliant leurs coins supérieur et inférieur adjacents, puis on met dans la position désirée chaque unité de coffrage (3, 5) de semelle et de mur construite, au moyen d'une grue ou d'un autre dispositif de levage approprié.
