A method and apparatus (10) for forming molded food products having an outer first component (29) and an inner second component is provided. The apparatus (10) includes a pressurized supply of first component (29) and a pressurized supply of second component. A mold housing (31) extends along a first direction. A first end portion and a second end portion are arranged to be movable along the first direction within the mold housing (31) and to be separated by a pre-selected distance along the first direction. An injector tube (70) is in fluid communication with the supply of pressurized second component. The first and second end portions are arranged to be contained within the mold housing (31) in a fill position to form a mold cavity within the mold housing around the injector tube (70). The mold cavity has an inlet in fluid communication with the supply of pressurized first component (29) when in the fill position to receive first component (29) to form a shell having an inside void. The injector tube (70) provides a pathway for the pressurized second component into the inside void of the shell to fill the inside void with the second component to complete a two-component molded food product.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil permettant de former des produits alimentaires présentant un premier composant externe et un second composant interne. L'appareil comporte une alimentation sous pression du premier composant et une alimentation sous pression du second composant. Un logement de moulage s'étend dans une première direction. Une première et une seconde parties d'extrémité sont disposées de manière à se déplacer dans la première direction à l'intérieur du logement de moulage et à se séparer d'une distance présélectionnée dans la première direction. Un tube injecteur communique de manière fluidique avec l'alimentation du second composant sous pression. Les première et seconde parties d'extrémité sont disposées de manière à être enfermées dans le logement de moulage en position de remplissage afin de former une cavité de moule à l'intérieur du logement de moulage autour du tube injecteur. Ladite cavité présente une admission en communication fluidique avec l'alimentation du premier composant sous pression lorsqu'elle est en position de remplissage pour recevoir le premier composant pour former une enveloppe ayant un vide interne. Le tube injecteur fournit un chemin pour le second composant sous pression à l'intérieur du vide interne de l'enveloppe de façon à le remplir avec le seconde composant et à compléter le produit alimentaire moulé à deux composants.
