An apparatus for generating a bandwidth extended signal from an input signal comprises a patch generator and a combiner. The input signal is represented for a first band by a first resolution data, and for a second band by a second resolution data, the second resolution being lower than the first resolution. The patch generator generates a first patch from the first band of the input signal according to a first patching algorithm and generates a second patch from the first band of the input signal according to a second patching algorithm. A spectral density of the second patch generated according to the second patching algorithm is higher than a spectral density of a first patch generated according to the first patching algorithm. The combiner combines the first patch, the second patch and the first band of the input signal to obtain the bandwidth extended signal. The apparatus for generating a bandwidth extended signal scales the input signal according to the first patching algorithm and according to the second patching algorithm or scales the first patch and the second patch, so that the bandwidth extended signal fulfills a spectral envelope criterion.
La présente invention concerne un appareil servant à générer un signal à largeur de bande étalée à partir dun signal dentrée, qui comprend un générateur de programme de correction et un mélangeur. Le signal dentrée est représenté pour une première bande par des premières données de résolution, et pour une seconde bande par des secondes données de résolution, la seconde résolution étant inférieure à la première résolution. Le générateur de programme de correction génère un premier programme de correction à partir de la première bande du signal dentrée en fonction dun premier algorithme de correction et génère un second programme de correction à partir de la première bande du signal dentrée en fonction dun second algorithme de correction. Une densité spectrale du second programme de correction générée en fonction du second algorithme de correction est supérieure à une densité spectrale dun premier programme de correction généré en fonction du premier algorithme de correction. Le mélangeur mélange le premier programme de correction, le second programme de correction et la première bande du signal dentrée pour obtenir le signal à largeur de bande étalée. Lappareil servant à générer un signal à largeur de bande étalée met à léchelle le signal dentrée en fonction du premier algorithme de correction et en fonction du second algorithme de correction ou met à léchelle le premier programme de correction et le second programme de correction, de sorte que le signal à largeur de bande étalée satisfasse un critère de lenveloppe spectrale.
