APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR GENERATING A DATA CODE WITH A SPECTRAL NULL Abstract of the Disclosure In a dynamic disc memory system, servo signal tracks and data tracks are adjacent. The servo track includes a signal having a predetermined frequency. With the system and method of this disclosure, the data recorded on the data track is translated to have a frequency null at the frequency of the servo signal track by translating apparatus to eliminate cross-talk at the servo frequency.
