The invention relates to an apparatus for generating a multi-component compound, in particular for dental purposes, comprising: - At least two cartridges (3), each cartridge (3) adapted for containing a compo~nent (4) of the multi-component compound and having a plunger (2) adapted for pressing out its component (4) from the cartridge (3); and - a driving device for said plungers (2) in which the driving speed is adjustable, wherein the driving device comprises a stepping motor (1), and a detector associ~ated with the stepping motor for detecting at least one of a) the steps of the stepping motor and b) The load on the stepping motor. At low revolutions per minute, the stepping motor (1) offers higher torque as com~pared with the known DC motors, whereas it also offers high revolutions per minute, although with comparatively low torque, sufficient for rapid advance and retraction of the plungers (2).
La présente invention concerne un appareil conçu pour produire un composé à plusieurs composants, notamment à des fins dentaires. Cet appareil comprend au moins deux cartouches (3), chaque cartouche (3) étant conçue pour contenir un composant (4) du composé à plusieurs composants et présentant un piston (2) conçu pour expulser son composant (4) hors de la cartouche (3), ainsi qu'un dispositif d'entraînement pour les pistons (2) dont la vitesse d'entraînement est réglable. Le dispositif d'entraînement comprend un moteur pas-à-pas (1) et un détecteur associé au moteur pas-à-pas, qui est conçu pour détecter au moins a) les pas du moteur pas-à-pas et/ou b) la charge appliquée sur le moteur pas-à-pas. A de faibles vitesses de rotation, le moteur pas-à-pas (1) offre un couple supérieur par comparaison aux moteurs à courant continu connus et il offre également de grandes vitesses de rotation, mais avec un couple comparativement bas, permettant une avance et un retrait rapides des pistons (2).
