There is disclosed an apparatus and a method for guidance of a projectile. The method for guidance of a projectile, includes emission from the launching position of the projectile of beams pointing to the vertexes of a regular polygon, emission from the launching position of a beam encompassing the preceding beams, determination of position of the projectile relative to the beams, the determined position enabling to correct the projectile trajectory to maintain the projectile the closer to the centre of the polygon formed by the beams.

La présente invention concerne un appareil et un procédé de guidage de projectile. Le procédé de guidage de projectile comprend les étapes consistant à émettre, depuis le site de lancement du projectile, des faisceaux dirigés vers les sommets d'un polygone régulier, émettre depuis ce site de lancement un faisceau englobant les faisceaux précédents, et déterminer la position du projectile par rapport à ces faisceaux. La position ainsi déterminée permet de corriger la trajectoire du projectile afin de maintenir celui-ci le plus près possible du centre du polygone formé par les faisceaux.
