The method for implementing a handoff, in which a mobile station travels from a present cell of an async base station to a cell of a sync base station, includes the steps of: the mobile station's receiving a pseudo-noise (PN) offset signal from the sync base station for a predetermined time, the PN offset signal indicating a specific PN offset value of the sync base station; the mobile station's reporting the PN offset value to the async base station; the mobile station's receiving system information about the sync base station from the async base station; and the mobile station's performing the handoff to the cell of the sync base station based on the received system information.
On décrit un procédé de transfert, dans lequel une station mobile se déplace d'une cellule d'une station de base asynchrone à une cellule d'une station de base synchrone. Le procédé comprend les étapes suivantes: la station mobile reçoit pendant une durée prédéterminée un signal de décalage du bruit pseudo-aléatoire (PN) en provenance de la station de base synchrone, le signal de décalage PN indiquant une valeur de décalage PN spécifique de la station de base synchrone; la station mobile informe la station de base asynchrone de la valeur de décalage PN; la station mobile reçoit des informations de type système relatives à la station de base synchrone envoyées par la station de base asynchrone; et la station mobile effectue le transfert sur la cellule de la station de base synchrone sur la base des informations de type système reçues.
