The invention includes a device having a chamber, at least one tool, and at least one micromanipulator (130) that has a ball housing (143) having a space therein, a ball assembly (144), having a ball (150) with a hole and a tube (145), and a chamber attachment (14), wherein the ball assembly (144) is movably positioned within the space in the ball housing (143), and the tube (145) is securely positioned within the hole in the ball (150), wherein the ball (150) imparts three dimensional movement to the tube (145) through rotational movement of the ball (150) within the ball housing (143), wherein the micromanipulator is reversibly attached to the chamber and the micromanipulator functions to manipulate the at least one tool with respect to the sample in the chamber.
Cette invention utilise un appareil comprenant une enceinte, au moins un instrument et au moins un micromanipulateur (130), pourvu d'un logement pour billes (143) renfermant une cavité, un ensemble bille comportant une bille (150) ainsi qu'un orifice et un tube (145) et une fixation pour l'enceinte. L'ensemble bille (144) est positionné mobile dans le logement pour billes (143) et le tube (145) est positionné solidement dans l'orifice de la bille. Cette bille (150) provoque un mouvement tridimensionnel du tube du fait de son mouvement rotatif. Le micromanipulateur, qui est fixé de manière réversible à l'enceinte, sert à manipuler au moins un instrument relativement à l'échantillon placé dans l'enceinte.
