Provided is an apparatus and method for introducing a sample into a cryogenic system (70) comprising, an airlock chamber (20), a sample path (10) having a first end connected to the airlock chamber and a second end connected to a cryogenic helium bath, an equilibrator (60), inserted into the sample path and positioned between the airlock and the cryogenic bath (72) and which allows for passage of a sample to the cryogenic helium bath, and a cooling unit to coupled to the equilibration to control the temperature of the equilibrator. A machine-readable medium, comprising instructions which when executed by a controller causes a sample to be positioned within the cryogenic system, is also provided.
L'invention divulgue un dispositif et un procédé pour introduire un échantillon dans un système cryogénique (70) comprenant un sas d'accès (20), un chemin d'échantillon (10) présentant une première extrémité qui est connectée au sas d'accès et une deuxième extrémité qui est connectée à un bain d'hélium cryogénique, un dispositif d'équilibrage (60) qui est inséré dans le chemin d'échantillon et positionné entre le sas et le bain cryogénique (72) et qui permet le passage d'un échantillon vers le bain d'hélium cryogénique, et une unité de refroidissement qui est couplée au dispositif d'équilibrage afin de commander la température de celui-ci. Un support lisible par une machine, qui contient des instructions qui, lorsqu'elles sont exécutées par un dispositif de commande entraînent le positionnement d'un échantillon à l'intérieur du système cryogénique, est également prévu.
