A sheet processing apparatus (10) end method for selectively inverting, staging and selectively advancing or diverting sheet material along a selected one of a plurality of predetermined conveying paths are provided. The apparatus (10) includes a pair of support plates (20, 30) defining a space therebetween for advancement of sheet material therethrough, an advance mechanism (42A, 42B, 52A, 52B) for selectively staging and advancing sheet material, a rotation mechanism (TS, 60, 70) for selectively simultaneously rotating the support plates about an arc of at least approximately 180 degrees for selectively inverting sheet material therebetween or positioning sheet material therebetween for advancement along a predetermined conveying path.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil (10) de traitement de feuilles permettant d'inverser, organiser de manière sélective et faire avancer ou dévier un matériau feuille le long d'une trajectoire de transport choisie parmi plusieurs trajectoires. Cet appareil (10) comporte une paire de plaques support (20, 30) délimitant un espace entre elles, espace dans lequel le matériau feuille progresse; un mécanisme d'impulsion (42A, 42B, 52A, 52B) destiné à organiser et faire avancer de manière sélective le matériau feuille; un mécanisme de rotation (TS, 60, 70) destiné à entraîner la rotation sélective et simultanée des plaques support dans un arc d'au moins environ 180 degrés et ce, dans le but d'inverser le matériau feuille de manière sélective entre ces plaques ou de positionner le matériau feuille entre ces plaques en vue de le faire avancer le long d'une trajectoire de transport prédéterminée.
