ABSTRACT Method and apparatus for manufacturing branched earthenware pipe fittings, the method including the steps of charging green clay into an openable die having when closed a die cavity corresponding to the exterior shape or a fitting having a main leg and at least one branch leg, forcing into said die at least one of a plurality of plungers mounted in said die to displace said clay and simultaneously form the external and internal shape of the pipe fitting, withdrawing said plungers and opening said die to remove said fitting.
