A method and an apparatus for adapting for a kernel on a target system a compiled kernel module corresponding to another kernel version which is different from the kernel on the target system are provided. A kernel analyzer extracts from the kernel on the target system an error check measure and a kernel version identification. A module adaptation component inserts in the compiled kernel module an error check parameter corresponding to the error check measure extracted by the kernel analyzer from the kernel on the target system, and replaces a version identification in the compiled kernel module with the kernel version identification extracted by the kernel analyzer from the kernel on the target system.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif destinés à adapter pour un noyau sur un système cible un module noyau compilé correspondant à une autre version de noyau différente du noyau sur le système cible. Un analyseur de noyau extrait du noyau sur le système cible une mesure de vérification d'erreur et une identification de version de noyau. Un composant d'adaptation de module insère dans le module noyau compilé un paramètre de vérification d'erreur correspondant à la mesure de vérification d'erreur extraite par l'analyseur de noyau à partir du noyau sur le système cible, puis remplace une identification de version dans le module noyau compilé par l'identification de version de noyau extraite par l'analyseur de noyau à partir du noyau sur le système cible.
