APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PRECISION GRINDING OF GEAR CUTTING TOOLS Abstract An improved apparatus for sharpening and resharpening cutting blades provides for very accurate positioning of a plurality of cutting blades (22) relative to a single grinding plane (17) of a grinding wheel (16). The apparatus includes means for positioning the cutting blades in precise relationships to a reference axis (26) so that the reference axis can be used for establishing critical geometric surfaces on the cutting blades.
