ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The apparatus comprises a first object in which a plurality of windows are arranged around a rotational shaft, and a polygonal second object so arranged as to be partially observed through the windows of the first object. The first object and second object rotate relatively around the rotational shaft. Because of optical illusion, a visual effect that the polygonal object is perceived expanding, contracting, deforming and eccentrically rotating is produced.

Appareil constitué d'un premier objet possédant plusieurs fenêtres disposées autour d'un arbre de rotation, et d'un second objet polygonal placé de façon à être vu partiellement par les fenêtres du premier objet. Les premier et second objets tournent plus ou moins autour de l'arbre de rotation. En raison d'une illusion optique, l'objet polygonal est perçu comme grossissant, se contractant, se déformant et tournant de façon excentrée.
