In an injection molding machine having first and second nozzles for delivering melt material from a common manifold to one or more mold cavities, apparatus for controlling delivery of the melt material from the nozzles to the one or more mold cavities, each nozzle having an exit aperture communicating with a gate of a cavity of a mold and being associated with an actuator interconnected to a melt flow controller, the apparatus comprising: a sensor for sensing a selected condition of the melt material through at least one of the nozzles; an actuator controller interconnected to each actuator, each actuator controller comprising a computer interconnected to a sensor for receiving a signal representative of the selected condition sensed by the sensor, the computer including an algorithm utilizing a value corresponding to a signal received from the sensor as a variable for controlling operation of an actuator for the at least one nozzle; wherein at least one of the nozzles has a seal surface disposed on a tip end of the nozzle which is engaged and in compressed contact with a complementary surface surrounding the gate of a cavity of a mold, the engaged surfaces forming a seal against leakage of the melt material around the nozzle.
Dans une machine à mouler munie d'une première et d'une seconde busettes pour transvaser le matériau fondu d'un collecteur commun à une ou plusieurs cavités de moule, appareil de régulation la distribution d'un matériau fondu des busettes à une ou à plusieurs cavités de moule, chaque busette comportant un orifice de sortie communiquant avec l'attaque d'une cavité de moule et étant reliée à un actionneur qui est à sont tour raccordé à un régulateur du débit de matériau fondu, l'appareil comprenant un capteur pour détecter la condition choisie du matériau fondu traversant au moins une des busettes, un contrôleur d'actionneurs relié à chaque actionneur, chaque contrôleur d'actionneur comportant un ordinateur relié à un capteur pour recevoir un signal représentant la condition choisie détectée par le capteur, un ordinateur muni d'un algorithme faisant appel à une valeur correspondant à un signal reçu du capteur sous forme de variable pour le contrôle du fonctionnement d'un actionneur pour au moins la première busette qui est engagée et en contact par compression avec une surface de contact appariée entourant l'attaque de la cavité d'un moule, les surfaces engagées formant un joint étanche contre toute fuite du matériau en fusion autour de la busette.
