An apparatus for protecting optical fiber devices having at least one optical fiber length and control means associated therewith, comprises a casing (200) having at least one housing (270) passing through the casing (200), in which casing the optical fiber length is inserted in such a manner that it is located inside the casing itself, in the presence of sealing means interposed between said housing and said casing, so that the housing is delimited in a substantially impervious manner with respect to the casing.

L'invention est un appareil de protection de dispositif à fibre optique ayant au moins un segment de fibre optique avec dispositif de commande connexe. Cet appareil comporte un boîtier (200) doté d'au moins un logement (270) qui traverse ledit boîtier (200); le segment de fibre optique est inséré dans le boîtier de telle façon qu'il se trouve à l'intérieur du boîtier même, en présence d'un dispositif d'étanchéité interposé entre le logement et le boîtier précité, de sorte que le logement est délimité de façon essentiellement étanche par rapport au boîtier.
