The redundant switching control apparatus of the present invention has a redundant configuration of an operational system and standby system, comprising two control sections 101 and 102, one operating as the operational system controlling the controlled section, with these two control sections connected via signal lines 107 and 108 carrying signals indicating one of a normal/abnormal state, mounted/unmounted state, switching enabled/disabled state or operating/non-operating state of own control section 101 to other control section 102 and performs switching between the operational system and standby system by mutually recognizing the state of other control section 102 from said signal of other control section 102 via signal lines 107 and 108 between these control sections.
