An apparatus for running tubulars , particularly but not exclusively, in the drilling of an oil or gas well, the apparatus comprising a running tool (20) for running wellbore tubulars and a handling apparatus (50) for handling tubulars, characterised in that the handling apparatus (50) is connected to the running tool (20) , the handling apparatus (50) comprising at least one extendable arm (61,62) extendable in length and movable toward and away from the running tool (20).
