The present invention provides systems, methods and devices for selectively firing a gun train formed of a plurality of guns. Conventionally, the guns each include a detonator assembly that detonates upon receiving a firing signal transmitted by a surface source. In one embodiment of the present invention, an operator provided in the gun train selectively couples one or more of the guns to the signal transmission medium. The operator has an safe state wherein the operator isolates the gun from the firing signal and an armed state wherein the operator enable the transmission of the firing signal to the gun. A control signal is used to move operator between the safe state and the armed state. In some embodiments, two or more guns are each provided with a separate operator. In other embodiments, one operator can selectively engage two or more guns.
L~invention concerne des systèmes, procédés et dispositifs de mise à feu sélective d~un train de perforateurs à balles constitué d~une pluralité de perforateurs à balles. Chacun des perforateurs à balles comprend d~ordinaire un ensemble détonateur qui détone lorsqu~il reçoit un signal de mise à feu transmis par une source en surface. Dans un mode de réalisation de l~invention, une commande montée dans le train de perforateurs à balles assure le couplage sélectif d~au moins un des perforateurs à balles au milieu de transmission du signal. La commande possède un état protégé dans lequel elle isole ledit au moins un perforateur à balles du signal de mise à feu, et un état armé dans lequel elle permet la transmission du signal de mise à feu au perforateur à balles. Un signal de commande est utilisé pour commuter la commande entre l~état protégé et l~état armé. Dans certains modes de réalisation, au moins deux perforateurs à balles sont chacun dotés d~une commande séparée. Dans d~autres modes de réalisation, une seule commande peut assurer le déclenchement sélectif d~au moins deux perforateurs à balles.
