A B S T R A C T Apparatus for separating agricultural produce from other materials comprising a generally cylindrical separation roller; and apparatus for causing an unsorted mixture of agricultural produce and other materials to impinge upon the generally cylindrical separation roller at an impingement location area in a direction which is not normal to the tangent to the roller surface at the impingement location area.
