A system for treating a wound with suction is provided. The system comprises a wound cover, a pump having an input port and an output port, the input port providing suction to the wound via the wound cover, and a reservoir coupled to the output port of the pump. The reservoir is adapted to receive effluent from the wound and the pump is capable of maintaining a controlled level of suction at the wound.
L'invention concerne un système de traitement d'une plaie par succion. Ce système comprend un revêtement de plaie, une pompe pourvue d'un orifice d'entrée et d'un orifice de sortie, ledit orifice d'entrée engendrant une succion au niveau de la plaie via le revêtement de la plaie, et un réservoir couplé à l'orifice de sortie de la pompe. Ce réservoir est conçu pour recevoir une effluve provenant de la plaie et la pompe est capable de maintenir un niveau régulé de succion à l'emplacement de la plaie.
