Disclosed is an apparatus for transmitting information bits after coding the information bits with Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) codes having unequal error probability values in a wireless communication system which channel- codes and transmits the information bits. The apparatus includes a LDPC encoder for mapping high information bits to low variable nodes and low information bits to high variable nodes, the high information bits having high importance priorities and the low information bits having low importance priorities from among the information bits, wherein the low variable nodes are variable nodes having low error probability values and the high variable nodes are variable nodes having high error probability values in a factor graph of the LDPC codes.

Dispositif servant à transmettre des bits d'information après avoir codé ces bits par des codes LDPC (contrôle de parité basse densité) possédant des valeurs de probabilité d'erreur inégales dansun système de communication radio effectuant des codages de voie et transmettant les bits d'information. Ce dispositif comprend un codeur LDPC servant à mettre en correspondance des bits d'information hauts avec des noeuds variables bas et des bits d'information bas avec des noeuds variables hauts, les bits d'information hauts présentant des priorités d'importance majeure et les bits d'information bas présentant des priorités d'importance mineure parmi les bits d'informations, les noeuds variables bas consistant en des noeuds variables possédant des valeurs de probabilité d'erreur basses et les noeuds variables hauts consistant en des noeuds variables présentant des valeurs de probabilité d'erreur élevées dans un graphique factoriel des codes LDPC.
