Apparatus for lysing adipose tissue and/or cellulite comprising: at least one transducer controllable to transmit ultrasound; and an adapter configured to couple ultrasound transmitted by the at least one transducer to a region of a patient's skin comprising and/or overlaying a layer of adipose tissue and/or cellulite; wherein the adapter orients the transmitted ultrasound relative to the layer of adipose tissue and/or cellulite so that it tends to propagate along a region of the layer.
L'invention concerne un appareil permettant la lyse de tissu adipeux et/ou de cellulite comprenant : au moins un transducteur qui peut être commandé pour transmettre des ultrasons; et un adaptateur configuré pour coupler les ultrasons transmis par le ou les transducteurs à une région de la peau d'un patient comprenant et/ou recouvrant une couche de tissu adipeux et/ou de cellulite; l'adaptateur orientant les ultrasons transmis par rapport à la couche de tissu adipeux et/ou de cellulite de sorte qu'ils ont tendance à se propager le long d'une région de la couche.
