An apparatus for balancing a shaft(12) of an assembled aircraft engine(10) using a mounting plate (20) and standard fasteners(33). The mounting plate(20), which can be accessed from the front of the assembled engine, provides mounting means for the nose cone assembly (18) and balancing means by the addition of balancing weights through fasteners (33). The mounting plate (20) comprises a first group of holes (32) ans a second group of holes (34) to accommodate the fasteners (33).

Cette invention concerne un dispositif d'équilibrage pour un arbre (12) d'un moteur d'avion assemblé(10) au moyen d'une plaque de montage (20) et de fixations courantes (33). La plaque de montage(20), que l'on peut atteindre par l'avant du moteur assemblé, permet de monter l'ensemble cône avant (18) et de procéder à l'équilibrage par adjonction de masses d'équilibrage au moyen de fixations (33). L a plaque de montage (20) présente une première série de trous (32) et une seconde série de trous (34) destinés à recevoir les fixations (33).
