A hand-held tool (1), adapted to reduce the pain caused by a subcutaneous injection from a hypodermic needle (19), said tool comprising a tip (3) extending therefrom, an operative means (6) adapted to vibrate the tip (3) whereby in use the tip (3) is placed against the tissue into which the injection is to be given, so as to induce vibrations in the tissue, both before and during the injection.
Cette invention concerne un instrument (1) tenu à la main qui permet de diminuer la douleur que cause une injection sous-cutanée par aiguille hypodermique (19). Cet instrument comprend une extrémité saillante (3), ainsi qu'un système d'actionnement (6) faisant vibrer cette extrémité (3). Lors de son utilisation, l'extrémité (3) est placée contre le tissu dans lequel l'injection doit être faite, de manière à induire des vibrations dans ce dernier tant avant que pendant l'injection.
