Apparatus and methods for managing key material in heterogenous cryptographic assets from a single system are disclosed. In reference to figure 2, the methods can include defining first key material to be delivered to a cryptographic asset, wherein the first key material has a cryptoperiod having an expiration. Second key material to be delivered to the cryptographic asset is also defined. Second key delivery of the second key material is scheduled such that the second key material will be delivered automatically to the cryptographic asset at or before the expiration of the cryptoperiod of the first key material. The methods can include definining a set of equipment classes (64, 76, 92), and registering at least one cryptographic asset with each equipment class (64, 76, 92). Cryptographic assets selected from the registered cryptographic assets are grouped into secure communication services, thereby defining secure communication interfaces between the cryptographic assets.
L'invention concerne un appareil et des procédés permettant de gérer des clés dans des biens cryptographiques. Ces procédés consistent tout d'abord à définir une première clé destinée à être attribuée à un bien cryptographique, la cryptopériode de cette première clé ayant une certaine expiration. Ces procédés consistent ensuite à définir une seconde clé également destinée à être attribuée au bien cryptographique, puis à programmer l'attribution automatique de cette seconde clé, de sorte que celle-ci peut être attribuée automatiquement audit bien cryptographique, avant l'expiration de la cryptopériode de cette clé ou au moment de cette expiration. Puis ces procédés consistent à définir un ensemble de catégories de matériel, à enregistrer au moins un bien cryptographique avec chacune de ces catégories de matériel, et à grouper certains biens cryptographiques, sélectionnés parmi les biens cryptographiques enregistrés, sous la forme de services de communication sécurisés, afin de définir des interfaces de communication sécurisés entre lesdits biens cryptographiques. Ces procédés consistent enfin à définir une clé pour chacune de ces interfaces de communication, et à programmer l'attribution automatique de cette clé aux biens cryptographiques sélectionnés. L'appareil et les procédés de cette invention concerne par ailleurs un système de gestion de clés intégré permettant de gérer des clés dans plusieurs biens cryptographiques hétérogènes, à partir d'un seul système.
