Apparatus, systems and methods are provided that utilize microreactor technology to achieve desired mixing and interaction at a micro and/or molecular level between and among feed stream constituents. Feed streams are fed to an intensifier pump at individually controlled rates, e.g., based on operation of individually controlled feed pumps. The time during which first and second feed streams are combined/mixed prior to introduction to the microreactor is generally minimized, thereby avoiding potential reactions and other constituent interactions prior to micro- and/or nano-scale interactions within the microreactor. Vari-ous microreactor designs/geometries may be employed, e.g., "Z" type single or multi-slot geometries and "Y" type single or multi--slot geometries. Various applications benefit from the disclosure, including emulsion, crystallization, encapsulation and reaction processes.
L'invention concerne des dispositifs, des systèmes et des procédés utilisant la technologie de microréacteur pour réaliser le mélange et l'interaction souhaités à un niveau micro et/ou moléculaire entre des composants de flux d'alimentation, et parmi ces composants. Les flux d'alimentation sont amenés à une pompe d'intensification à des débits régulés individuellement, à savoir, sur la base du fonctionnement des pompes d'alimentation régulées individuellement. Le temps durant lequel les premier et second flux d'alimentation sont combinés/mélangés avant l'introduction dans le microréacteur est généralement minimisé, ce qui réduit ainsi les réactions potentielles et les autres interactions de composants avant les interactions à léchelle nano ou micro à l'intérieur du microréacteur. Diverses conceptions/géométries de microréacteur peuvent être utilisées, à savoir une géométrie unique de type « Z » ou une géométrie à fentes multiples et une géométrie unique de type « Y » ou une géométrie à fentes multiples. Diverses applications bénéficient de la présente invention, tels que les procédés d'émulsion, de cristallisation, d'encapsulation et de réaction.
