The invention provides an apparatus for performing surgery on a heart of a patient comprising a first arm (26), a second arm (24) and an actuator (40), the actuator moving the first arm relative to the second arm. The apparatus further includes a first blade (52) on the first arm and a second blade (54) on the second arm, the first and second blades having first and second surfaces facing away from each other, and having surfaces adapted to atraumatically engage tissue or bone for the retractation thereof. The apparatus also includes a stabilizer (70) adapted to be mounted to one of the first and second arms having a foot (80), the foot being configured to atraumatically engage the surface of the heart. In various embodiments, the apparatus includes removable blades (52, 54) mounted to the arms, suture stays (62) removably mounted to the arms, and multiple rails (28, 29) for mounting the stabilizer in various positions.
L'invention concerne un appareil pour effectuer une opération chirurgicale sur le coeur d'un patient et comprenant un premier bras (26), un deuxième bras (24) et un actionneur (40), l'actionneur déplaçant le premier bras par rapport au deuxième bras. L'appareil comprend également une première pale (52) sur le premier bras et une deuxième pale (54) sur le deuxième bras, les première et deuxième pales comportant des première et deuxième surfaces tournée dos-à-dos l'un à l'autre et comportant des surfaces conçues pour mettre en prise un tissu ou un os sans le traumatiser, à des fins de rétraction de ce dernier. L'appareil comprend aussi un stabilisateur (70) conçu pour être monté sur l'un ou l'autre bras et muni d'un socle (80), le socle étant configuré pour mettre en prise la surface du coeur sans le traumatiser. Dans divers modes de réalisation, l'appareil comprend des lames amovibles (52, 54) montées sur les bras, des supports de suture (62) montés amovibles sur les bras et des glissières multiples (28, 29) destinées à monter le stabilisateur dans des positions différentes.
