An apparatus and process for treating a complex mixture of hydrocarbons containing undesirable olefinic compounds to remove the mono olefins and diolefins in two stages and separate a desirable key component from the mixture, by first treating the key component in a reactive distillation column (10) having a secondary bed (18), primary bed (16) and sidedraw (44), under mild conditions to hydrogenate diolefin then separating the diolefin-depleted key component and lighter materials to a second reactive distillation column (48) having secondary bed (72), primary bed (50) and sidedraw (64) where the lights are removed overhead and the diolefin-depleted key component is hydrogenated under more severe conditions to remove the mono olefins.
L'invention concerne un appareil et un procédé permettant de traiter un mélange complexe d'hydrocarbures contenant des composés oléfiniques indésirables en vue de l'élimination en deux étapes des mono-oléfines et des di-oléfines et de la séparation d'un composant clé souhaitable dudit mélange. Ledit procédé consiste tout d'abord à traiter le premier composant dans une colonne de distillation réactive (10) comportant un lit secondaire (18), un lit primaire (16) et un organe de soutirage latéral (44), dans des conditions modérées permettant l'hydrogénation des di-oléfines, puis à séparer le composant clé appauvri en di-oléfines et les substances plus légères de manière à les amener dans une seconde colonne de distillation réactive (48) où les substances légères sont extraites en partie supérieure et où le composant appauvri en di-oléfines est hydrogéné dans des conditions plus extrêmes en vue de l'extraction des mono-oléfines.
