The present invention is directed to a forming apparatus comprising (a) first and second forming rolls (18, 20) with forming pockets (66) in corresponding alignment, wherein at least one roll has one or more continuous grooves (63) extending around the circumference of the roll (18, 20) in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the roll and which intersects the forming pockets (66) in the plane, wherein the first and second forming rolls (18, 20) rotate in directions counter to one another, and (b) one or more forming pins (15) positioned between the counter rotating rolls and within the continuous groove (63) of the roll.
La présente invention a pour but de constituer un appareil comportant (a) un premier et un second rouleaux de forme (18, 20) avec des poches de forme (66) en alignement correspondant, au moins un des rouleaux ci-décrit possédant une ou plusieurs rainure(s) continue(s) (63) s~étendant autour de la circonférence du rouleau (18, 20) sur un plan perpendiculaire à l~axe longitudinal du rouleau et réalisant une intersection avec les poches de forme (66) sur le plan, le premier et le second rouleaux de forme (18, 20) tournant en sens opposés, et (b) une ou plusieurs tige(s) (15) positionnée(s) entre les rouleaux tournant en sens opposés et à l~intérieur de la rainure continue (63) du rouleau.
