The present invention addresses the processing of waste and low-value products that contain bone material to produce useful materials in reliable purities and compositions, at acceptable cost, and with high-energy efficiency. In particular, the invention comprises a process that converts various feedstock~s such as offal, animal manure~s, and municipal sewage sludge, to useful materials including gas, oil, specialty chemicals, and carbon solids. The process heats the feedstock in order to breakdown proteins and separate organic material from bone material, applies further heat and pressure to the resulting liquid mixture, separates out various components, then further applies heat and pressure to one or more of those components. The invention further comprises an apparatus for performing a process of converting waste products into useful materials, and an oil product that arises from the process.
L'invention concerne le traitement de déchets et de produits de faible valeur qui contiennent un matériau osseux permettant de produire des matières utilisées dans des produits purs et des compositions fiables, à un coût acceptable, et à un rendement énergétique très élevé. L'invention concerne, en particulier, un procédé permettant de convertir des charges d'alimentation variées, telles que des abats, des engrais animaux et des boues d'épuration municipales en matières utiles, notamment du gaz, de l'huile, des produits chimiques spéciaux et des solides carbonés. Le procédé consiste à chauffer la charge d'alimentation afin de décomposer les protéines, à séparer la matière organique du matériau osseux, à appliquer de la chaleur et une pression sur le mélange liquide résultant, à séparer les composants variés et à appliquer de la chaleur et une pression sur un ou plusieurs de ces composants. L'invention concerne enfin un appareil permettant d'exécuter un procédé de conversion des produits de déchets en matériaux utiles et un produit huileux provenant dudit procédé.
