ABSTRACT Apparatus for forming a rippled or corrugated profile in sheet material. The apparatus comprises holding means for holding the material prior to profiling, the holding means comprising a pair of holding rollers for holding the material therebetween and rotary press means for imparting the rippled or corrugated profile to the material. The press means comprises a pair of rotatable pressing rollers, with each pressing roller including a plurality of pressing elements around its periphery. The pressing elements associated with one roller are adapted to mesh with the pressing elements of the other pressing roller as the pressing rollers rotate. A building product comprising a rippled or corrugated metal layer formed with the above apparatus and having an insulating layer bonded thereto is also provided.
