An apparatus for controlling the operation of a plurality of digital devices connected to a network includes a transmitting/receiving processing unit (102) for transmitting/receiving data and control signals to and from the network, a time designation processing unit (104) for receiving a preset designation time from the system controller via the network, and a designation time detection processing unit (105) for comparing the preset designation time with the current time, and when the designation time agrees with the current time, the received data is switched over without interruption, and the switching is synchronized with the next I frame. The operation of the digital device is accurately controlled at predetermined timing without issuing an instruction packet. The amount of data to be transmitted may be set to an amount less than the maximum transmissible data to provide free time before starting transmission of the next data group.

L'heure spécifiée est comparée à l'heure en vigueur, et s'il y a correspondance, les données reçues sont commutées en synchronisation avec la trame I suivante.
