Abstract of the Disclosure An apparatus for abrasively treating the surfaces of a series of automobile bodies comprising a plurality of units disposed in spaced relation for processing different areas of the upper surfaces of each body, each unit comprising at least one rotatable brush, which is brought in contact with a particular area of the upper surfaces of the body and is held in position during operation by means of a double acting piston cyliner, the pressure differential between two chambers within the cyliner being held constant.
