BE IT KNOWN THAT, I, Harald ROSENBERG, a German National, residing at Korvettenstrasse 83, 2400 L?beck, Germany, having made an invention entitled "APPARATUS FOR ALIGNING FISH" the following disclosure contains a correct and full description of the invention and of the best mode known to the inventor of taking advantage of the same:- ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSURE:- An apparatus is disclosed for transferring fish processed or presented in a vertical attitude with their tail downwards into a longitudinally aligned position with regard to their head-tail attitude. The apparatus has a pair of horizontally guided conveyor belts which engage the flanks of the fish and below which a flap is arranged to be pivotable against the force of a spring about a transverse pivotal axis. The conveyor belts are resiliently supported by means of pressure rollers in the vicinity of the flap and extend parallel to one another up to these rollers but diverge after these. A conveying surface is provided below the divergent dection of the conveyor belts.
