This application relates to an apparatus designed to collect concrete from a ready mix truck discharge chute. Separate the coarse and fine aggregate fraction from the cement slurry and return the cement slurry back into the ready mix truck drum for reuse or discharge upon return to the point of production. The apparatus consists of a portable container combining an open-ended collection hopper including removable screens and an air operated pressure vessel, The apparatus is suspended off the end of the truck discharge chute and residual concrete a washed onto the hopper and over the screens. Coarse and fine aggregate is retained on the screens and the cement slurry water passes through in to the pressure vessel below. When the pressure vessel is filled to capacity, regulated air pressure supplied via the truck air system is applied to the vessel that in turn discharges the slurry through a discharge hose back into the ready mix drum. The apparatus has no moving parts, utilizing low-pressure regulated air for means of transfer. The apparatus allows for job-site collection and reuse of high PH cement slurries thereby preventing contamination of work sites and adjoining waterways.
