APPARATUS FOR ANCHORING A TELEPHONE HANDSET TO A TELEPHONE HOUSING Abstract of the Disclosure A shaped anchor member for anchoring a telephone handset to a telephone housing wherein a stranded cable is employed to mechanically connect the handset and the housing. An end portion of the stranded cable is dis- posed within the anchor member. The anchor member is provided with a top compound surface having first and second radii of curvature such that the compound sur- face is in substantially full surface contact with an interior surface of the handset at the junction of the handset yoke and receiver.
