An apparatus for attaching an electronic security tag (38) to a freshly printed label (12), each label having an adhesive side and a printable side. The apparatus comprises a supply roll (36) including a backing (40) and a plurality of security tags (38) attached thereto for supplying the electronic security tags. The apparatus further comprises means (26) for printing indicia on the printable side and delivering the label (12) to a label support. The apparatus includes a stripper element (44) for separating the security tags from the backing at a label application station. The separated security tag is then attached to the label.
Appareil permettant de fixer une plaquette électronique antivol (38) sur une étiquette (12) fraîchement imprimée, chaque étiquette ayant une face adhésive et une face à imprimer. Ledit appareil comprend un rouleau d'alimentation (36) en plaquettes antivol électroniques comportant un support (40) et une pluralité de plaquettes antivol (38) attachées audit support, des moyens (26) pour imprimer des indications sur la face à imprimer et pour acheminer l'étiquette vers un support d'étiquette (12), ainsi qu'un élément séparateur (44) destiné à séparer les plaquettes antivol du support au niveau du poste d'application sur les étiquettes. Ladite plaquette antivol est ensuite attachée à l'étiquette.
