ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An apparatus for attaching a front loader to a tractor or like vehicle comprises a pair of opposite lift arms removably connectable to the vehicle and pivotally movable upward and downward, a bucket supported by the front ends of the lift arms with pivots and pivotally movable upward and downward, bucket cylinders for pivotally moving the bucket, and a restraining member removably attached to the bucket for preventing the pivotal movement of the bucket relative to the ground. The lift arms as disconnected from the vehicle are moved by the bucket cylinders about the pivots to an attached position relative to the vehicle or to a removed position above the attached position and can be held in either position.
