An apparatus for bending heat-exchanger tubes, which heat-exchanger tubes have heat- exchanger ribs, preferably having a needle construction. In the apparatus, the heat- exchanger tubes are placed one above the other to form a battery. The battery of heat- exchanger tubes is fed first into a first bending-device portion of the bending device, in which the heat-exchanger tubes are bent in one direction. After this, the tube battery is fed further, and bending is performed in the second bending-device portion in the opposite direction of bending, whereby a wave-shaped form is obtained.
