ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention provides an apparatus for bringing liquids into intimate contact with each other, at least one of said liquids being viscous, comprising a tubular vessel having a closed or closeable upper portion and a lower portion tapering downwardly and inwardly in a breast-like manner to form a dis- charge opening and at least one spray member for a second said liquid arranged circumferentially of the vessel above said tapered lower portion and directed in a slightly upwards direction towards said nozzle or the upper end of said vessel.
