Apparatus for carrying out peritoneal dialysis. The apparatus comprises a weighing device (37) provided with a case (50) for forming an airtight space. A heat bag (38) and, optionally, a discharge bag (42) are positioned in the space, said bags being connected with a catheter for the patient, who is to perform peritoneal dialysis. The apparatus comprises a pump arrangement (57) connected with the case (50) for producing overpressure and underpressure, respectively, in the space inside the case. Valve arrangements (39, 44) are adapted to connect either the discharge bag (42) or the heat bag (38) with the patient's catheter. By providing an underpressure in the case (50), fresh dialysis solution is provided to the heat bag (38) from supply bags, whereupon used dialysis fluid is extracted from a patient to the discharge bag (42). By causing an overpressure in the case (50), a fresh and heated dialysis solution is supplied from the heat bag (38) to the patient, whereupon the discharge bag (42) is drained to a waste or to collection bags. The flow of dialysis solution is monitored by the apparatus by means of weighing the case (50) and its contents. Suitable data for the treatment is stored in a memory unit of the apparatus.
Ce dispositif pour dialyses péritonéales se compose d'un appareil de pesée (37) pourvu d'une enceinte (50) assurant l'étanchéité d'un volume. Une poche chauffante (38) et éventuellement une poche de décharge (42) sont placées dans ce volume, lesdites poches étant reliées à un cathéter destiné au patient devant subir la dialyse péritonéale. Le dispositif est constitué d'un ensemble pompe (57) raccordé à l'enceinte (50) afin de provoquer alternativement une surpression et une dépression dans le volume défini par l'enceinte. Des ensembles soupapes (39, 44) sont montés de façon à raccorder soit la poche de décharge (42), soit la poche chauffante (38), au cathéter du patient. La dépression de l'enceinte (50) permet l'introduction, dans la poche chauffante (38), d'une solution de dialyse fraîche depuis des poches d'alimentation, le fluide de dialyse usé étant évacué du patient vers la poche de décharge (42). La surpression de l'enceinte (50) provoque l'apport au patient de solution de dialyse fraîche et réchauffée depuis la poche chauffante, le contenu de la poche de décharge (42) étant évacué vers un point de vidange ou des poches de collecte. Le flux de la solution de dialyse est surveillé par le dispositif par la pesée de l'enceinte (50) et de son contenu. Les données pertinentes au traitement sont conservées dans une mémoire du dispositif.
